Whether a retired or furloughed teacher, college student studying special education or related field, or a top high-school performer (must be 18 and over), our platform has a variety of experts across many age ranges and expertise. If you have experience in, educational credentials in, or simply a passion for working with students with disabilities, we encourage you to apply.

Due to the nature of the goals of this program, providers must be willing to work in-person. Learning Providers are independent providers who set their own hours and rate of pay, commensurate with their education and experience. Please note: Learning Aid Ohio prohibits excessive rates that do not adhere to the intention of the program. Once your bio is available on the site, families in your area can begin scheduling introductory interviews with you.

To get started today, fill out the application by clicking on the link below and follow further instructions. Once approved*, you will receive more information on how to list your bio. Please note: immediate family members, and those in the same household of an approved student, cannot apply to be providers.

Disclaimer: The learning providers on this site have cleared background checks. However, it is the responsibility of the parent to interview any candidate listed and ensure a good fit for their family.

Educators listed on the site are NOT employees of Fam-ess or DSACO. They are independent contractors looking to connect with families to offer their services directly.

*DSACO and Fam-ess, reserve the right to refuse any family and/or provider for any reason not including based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.
