WHERE CAN I GET A BACKGROUND CHECK?
If you are a resident of Ohio, you can submit either a BCI or FBI background check. If you are not an Ohio resident, you will need to submit an FBI background check. Find locations that offer the type you need. If you must submit a code, please use 5123 169. We suggest sending the background check to your home address and scanning in a copy to your application

ARE SERVICES VIRTUAL OR IN-PERSON?
We are currently only adding learning providers who are able to provide in-person services due to the nature of the program offering support to families with students with disabilities who are already struggling with online learning.

HOW WILL I GET PAID?
Learning providers will be paid directly by the site administrator once per our payday schedule which is typically every 2 weeks, but sometimes varies on holiday weeks. See schedule provided once approved as a provider.

CAN I BOOK APPOINTMENTS FOR CLIENTS?
No. Clients must book their own appointments directly through the site in order to pay for their services with their “LearningOHIO” plan. Learning providers do not have access to this.

DOES LEARNING AID OHIO PARTNER WITH BUSINESSES OR ORGANIZATIONS WHO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES?
No. The platform is only available for individual providers to add bios and offer 1-1 services to families. At this time, we do not partner with groups, organizations or other businesses who offer educational services.

CAN I OFFER GROUP SERVICES?
Only one family can book a given time slot. We do not allow providers to offer group rates, as most families are looking for one on one, in-person learning support for their student with unique needs.
